Instructions for Managing Your Account Settings

Here is a detailed guide to help you navigate and update your account settings:

Accessing Account Settings

  1. Locate Your Account:

    • Go to the top right corner of your screen where you will see your account icon.
    • If you haven't uploaded a picture, this icon will display the first letter of your name.
    • Click on this icon to reveal a dropdown menu.
  2. Open Account Settings:

    • From the dropdown menu, select "Settings" or "Account Settings".
    • This action will open a new screen with several tabs on the left side.

Profile Tab

  1. Profile Picture:

    • At the top of the profile tab, you can upload or update your profile picture by choosing a file from your device.
  2. Personal Information:

    • Fill in or update your first name, last name, and full legal name (as written in your passport or ID card).
    • This information is crucial for generating contracts on our platform.
  3. Address and Contact Information:

    • Enter your street address, postal code, city, country, date of birth, birthplace city, and birthplace country.
    • This data is used for personal identification in contracts.
    • Optionally, provide your phone number and bank account number.
      • For bank account verification, you may be required to transfer a small amount to confirm your identity.
  4. Signature:

    • You can add your signature, which will be used in contracts when you click "Okay, sign this contract".

Email and Password Tab

  1. Changing Password:

    • Enter your current password, then type your new password twice to confirm and update it.
    • If you have forgotten your password, log out and click "Password forgotten" to receive a reset email.
  2. Changing Email:

    • Enter your current email and the new email address.
    • For security, you will need to provide your current password to update the email.
    • A confirmation email will be sent to both your old and new email addresses.
      • If you did not authorize the change, you can block it through the email notification.
  3. Email Verification:

    • If you haven’t verified your email, click on "Verify email" to receive a verification link.
  4. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

    • Set up 2FA by downloading an authentication app like Google Authenticator.
    • Follow the instructions to scan the QR code and link your account.
    • For future logins, you will need to provide a six-digit code from your 2FA app after entering your email and password.

Entities Tab

  1. Managing Entities:
    • This section is for users who have additional companies or private holdings participating on the platform.
    • You can view and manage these entities here.
    • To add a new entity, click "Add new entity", select the country of registration, enter the chamber of commerce number, and add it to the system.

Notifications Tab

  1. Managing Notifications:
    • Toggle notifications on or off based on your preferences.
    • Notifications can include transaction alerts, company invitations, dividend receipts, etc.
    • Adjust notifications to avoid overload, especially if you manage multiple accounts or have many employees.
