Overview of Participants:
The Participants tab lists members of the organization who are assigned to a specific portfolio on the platform. For instance, in a given company, there may be 20 total participants, with 12 actively engaged in a particular portfolio. -
Active Participants:
Not all members are active in every portfolio. The active status can be toggled easily for each participant, allowing for quick additions or removals. -
Managing Participant Roles:
- Role Assignment: Participants can be assigned specific roles within the portfolio. However, the platform currently offers limited functionality for role differentiation.
- Usage of Roles: Roles are particularly useful when dealing with multiple attachments in transactions. For example, different trust conditions may apply to employees versus ambassadors, which can influence the attachments they receive.
-
Trust Conditions:
- For Employees: Trust conditions may require employees to return certain assets to the company if they leave.
- For Ambassadors: There are generally fewer restrictions, as ambassadors typically retain ownership of their assets unless the company as a whole is sold.
-
Document Management:
Documents can be attached and made visible to specific groups, such as employees or ambassadors, or to everyone. -
Participant List Navigation:
- The participant list can span multiple pages. The default view may show only a subset (e.g., 10 participants per page), but this can be adjusted to show up to 100 participants at a time.
- To manage participants not displayed in the list, ensure they are invited as members of the organization.
-
Adding Participants:
- Participants can be invited via the dashboard (using the plus button in the header), through the company settings on the members page, or by uploading an Excel file with participant details.
- Once invited, participants must accept the invitation and complete their information to be listed. Afterward, they can be toggled on or off for portfolio access.
