With Share Council

Everyone works from one dated price

  • Each valuation keeps its date, comment, report and adviser's letter.
  • Every holder sees their value in their wallet.

Record the price once and every holder sees it

We call it the Dated Share Price, because each price applies from its date.

  1. You get a valuation

It comes from a funding round, your accountant or our partner Equidam.

Price the shares and the certificates in one entry

Tulpwerk is our demo company, so the numbers are made up and the screens are real.

Its STAK issues one certificate per share, so Sanne's share price of 4.80 euros showed on the certificates from the same date.

The Valuation tab of Tulpwerk's STAK certificates explains that their price comes from the underlying shares, and the chart shows 4.80 euros on 30 June 2026

Rather than endless documents or unclear structures, employees could simply log in and see how things were set up.

Get a valuation from our partner Equidam

Equidam weights six valuation methods by your company's stage (sample report), and its report shows how it reached the number.

Order it on equidam.com, then record the price on the Valuation tab and attach the report.

Online valuation suits tech start-ups, scale-ups and service companies, so other businesses should book an expert hour first.

Check your price with the Belastingdienst in advance

This is general information, not tax advice. Check your situation with a tax adviser.

If employees get shares or certificates for less than they are worth, the Belastingdienst can treat the difference as wages (Jongbloed Fiscaal Juristen, updated 3 April 2026).

You can ask the Belastingdienst in advance for its view on your price (vooroverleg), and a documented valuation gives it something to work from. Share Council or our partner Equidam can make this request for you.

You can order a paid expert hour from your account to go through your plans first.

If you're unsure, book an expert hour.

Settle your doubts before you record a price

Will the Belastingdienst accept my price?

Nobody can promise that. Share Council can ask the Belastingdienst in advance for you, and a documented valuation gives it something to work from. This is general information, not tax advice.

Do I need Equidam to use Share Council?

No, any written valuation works, such as a funding-round price or an adviser's report. With Equidam, you type its result into the Valuation tab and attach the report.

What if a holder disagrees with the price?

Show them the date, comment and report behind the price. If questions remain, order an expert hour from your account.

Can I fix a valuation I entered wrongly?

Yes, admins can change any past valuation and delete any except an instrument's last one. The correction overwrites the old figures from that date until the next valuation.

Which plan do I need?

You can record valuations on your shares in a free account. Certificates and options need a paid plan.

Do I still need a notary or a tax adviser?

Recording a valuation involves no notary. You need a notary to found a STAK and to move BV shares into it, and an expert hour can cover your tax questions.
