Expert hours
An hour with a Share Council specialist on your employee ownership plan, paid with Support Tokens.
Updated: October 2026
What is an expert hour?
An expert hour is an hour in which a Share Council specialist looks at your situation with you, for example which plan fits your company or what should go into your STAK documents. You pay for it with Support Tokens, the credit you use for all Share Council services. One token is worth €0.10.
You create your legal documents yourself on the platform, through questionnaires. You book an expert hour when you want someone with experience to look things over before you commit.
Who are the experts?
You speak with Share Council's specialist team. The team guides companies through onboarding and sets up the tax and legal structure, such as a STAK. The legal templates on the platform have been checked by recognised law firms. To incorporate a STAK you also need a civil-law notary. You can pay the notary costs with Support Tokens too, but they are not part of an expert hour.
What can you use an expert hour for?
Choosing the right plan. In step 3 of onboarding you choose between a STAK, options, SARs, EOR, a convertible loan and bonds, among others. An expert helps you choose what fits your team.
Reviewing your draft. After the questionnaire you receive a first draft in Word. With an expert you go through the terms before you sign, such as the trust conditions and rules of your STAK or the terms of your option plan.
Incorporating your STAK. The notary asks for your articles of association, balance sheet and shareholder register, and wants to know how many shares go to the STAK. An expert helps you get that file complete.
Tax questions. What your plan means for you and your employees with the Dutch tax authority, and when tax is due.
Valuation. The value of your company sets the exercise price of options or the price of certificates. An expert explains how to reach a value you can back up.
Cleaning up your cap table. Old agreements that never made it into your shareholder register, or a register that no longer matches reality, get fixed before you make new grants.

What does an expert hour cost?
